Questions: WHEN CAN I START MY DRIVING LESSONS IN CHERTSEY?

You can start you driving lessons with us as soon as you have your provisional driving licence. You can apply for your provisional just before your 16th birthday.

This will allow you to practive driving a car from 17yrs old with someone who is over 21yrs old who has held a driving licence for over 3 years.

Driving on a non-GB licence

Question: Can I drive in the UK if I have a driving licence from overseas?
​
Answer: If you are from the EU/EEA and a UK resident you can drive on this driving Licence for up to 3 years in which time you need to exchange it for a UK driving licence.

If you are from outside of the EU/EEA you can drive on your overseas driving licence for only 12 months during which time you need to apply for a UK provisional license and pass the UK practical driving test.

Short Notice Driving Tests

Looking for emergency driving test instructor and compliant driving test car hire? Including short notice driving test, last minute or an early driving driving test date then give us a call. We can arrange a driving test date within 14 days across the many driving test centers in south west London including Chertsey by looking for late cancellations.

Once you have passed your theory test and hazard perception test you can apply for your Practical Driving Test.  On average it takes 25-30hrs of driving lessons with an instructor to pass your driving test.
